Ryosou Makibanoie 18 years or older offers spacious Japanese-style cottages with Mount Yufu views. Free Wi-Fi is available at the public areas and in all guest rooms. The onsen is fascinating ! Super private, not many people. The ryukan itself has lots of nice spot for photograph. Staffs are super friendly. The location is so peaceful and walkable from the station. Worth the price!! Room is beautiful as it’s a Japanese traditional room and we love it.

Right on Beppu Bay, Umino Hotel Hajime offers public hot spring baths and free WiFi. Rooms feature a traditional Japanese decor and a private bathroom with hot spring water. Amazing location - onsen with a view! Lovely sea view and managed to catch a thunderstorm shooting bolts across the bay! Lovely Ryokan with a good size space. Amenities were really good and loved the Yakuta choice.

Nishitetsu Resort Inn Beppu boasts a spacious public bathing area including natural hot spring baths and open-air baths. It is just an 8-minute walk from JR Beppu Station. The location is quite central, the next is the bus to the airport and 5 mins work to JR station. The hot spring inside is definitely the plus!!
