We appreciated the opportunity to stay in a champagne-producing property and one with historical interest, having served to house British officers during WWII. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in instructions were clear and worked perfectly. There was very good communication with us ahead of our visit. Clean, very well planned hotel. Seems rather new and has very fresh furnishings and designs. Great breakfast buffet... I recommend that extra for sure! I loved that they had hooks in entry for a coat and a set of hooks high on the wall for my hanging toiletry bag. Water pressure was adequate and the bathroom vanity had adequate lighting.

The name of the hotel literally means “In the Vines” which is accurate as it has beautiful champagne grape vines on two sides. The village of Chamery where the hotel is located is a twenty-minute drive from the large city of Reims, so it is very quiet. The village is very lovely, but has no shopping, restaurants or conveniences. The owner and hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating.
