Even the street is not in quiet neighbourhood (its expectable with city centres) the owner has sorted it out well with suitable isolation; I appreciated the flat I stayed in had been recently repainted (seems like the rest of them also, I assume it from the corridor and entrance hall that seemed to be recently repainted as well) it gave me a good impression of cleanliness, as in the room same in the bathroom; the street might seem bit dark but what would make it dangerous is just your imagination and fantasy (; Mostly I prefer to stay in a apartment, which can be challenging sometimes, because there is no reception, my last trip to Athens I had been waiting over an hour in front of the flat for the responsible person to check me in, thats why I appreciated the punctuality of AMS which had been provided and in my personal experience very friendly stuff, helping me out with my inquiries I had, what has partly inspired me as well to write this review. As i arrived after 6pm i didn't have to pay for my car on the street and next day i only had to pay two hours. “It was an idea hotel with its nearness to the Eurostar - only about a 7 minute walk. Also ideal for the short walk to Grand Square. In fact it is ideally situated. We never used the bar and meal area as chose to eat out but it looked a really nice area for a relaxing drink etc. The staff were always on hand and Meyer who I dealt with with mails etc, was a really nice guy and friendly. The bedding was clean as was the room and bathroom. No problems with the hotel at all.”

“A delightful stay in this lovely flat that felt very homely and comfortable. It was modern, clean with a very functional kitchen as well as a washing machine. We met the owner David on arrival and he couldn't have been more helpful and told us to contact him if there was anything we needed. Being seniors it was great to have a tram number 92 right outside our flat that took us to the Royal Palace and gardens etc. One street away from the flat you can also catch a number 3 or 4 tram that takes you to Brussels Central Station and walking distance to the beautiful Grand Place and the many Choclotiers. Two blocks down the road from flat that is walking distance is a variety of shops. If you need groceries there is a very large Carrefour Supermarket that has a huge range of goods to choose from at a resonanable price. In all we had an excellent ten day stay and would thoroughly recommend. Thank you David.”
