"This was a very nice hotel. Nice to have an elevator (lift) to avoid hauling luggage up stairs. The room was clean and comfortable with ensuite. There is a bar and restaurant on the ground-level, which would be handy, but we weren't able to enjoy on this trip. Breakfast was very good and the staff was attentive. That said, I can't say enough about the desk staff here. I was traveling with my elderly mother and she had fallen earlier in the day, broke her glasses and had injured her brow area and had a large knot and bruising. When we checked in, one of the two gentlemen at the front desk was medically trained (paramedic/fireman, I believe) and he immediately provided an ice-pack for her eye. Once we were in our room they both came up to suggest we visit a nearby medical facility for an exam [which we did], even bringing a physician that was dining in the restaurant up to our room for a quick look. The following morning they again checked on my mother to see how she was feeling. This was above and beyond what anyone would expect and very much appreciated. Their kindness will always be remembered."
Conveniently located, Bannview is a short walk from the railway station and 5 minutes walk from Portadown town centre, providing an ideal base from which to explore County Armagh.
"The staff were very friendly and accommodating.. my friends got married and they stayed their honeymoon night at the property.. they were so generous to ensure their was champagne waiting for them."
