Amazing architectural masterpiece in Ouro Preto. The hotel is great to wander around and the views from everywhere across the small city are great. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. Some speak English, some do not, but that doesn’t matter as we always for there in the end. The hotel is incredibly clean. The workers are constantly cleaning and maintaining the hotel. The small swimming pool out front isn’t heated, but it wasn’t too cold, although I didn’t have time for a swim as I was busy exploring. The small apartment I had included a balcony with a stunning view across the city with a bedroom looking over the well kept gardens at the rear. It was great to wake up and listen to the birds and watch the clouds / mist drop over the mountainside. The hotel is close to some great restaurants in town.

This beautiful colonial hotel features 2 rooftop pools, one is heated with a tub inside and the other one is with natural water. staff was excellent! friendly and very helpful. made us feel like we were at home. location excellent. have parking. restaurant good. breakfast great

Situato in una villa coloniale ristrutturata del 18° secolo, l'Hotel Luxor offre sistemazioni dal design ispirato a quell'epoca con splendide viste sulle chiese di Ouro Preto. The colonial style. It is not luxurious but it did have its charm. It had an excellent bed, excellent linen. Bathroom was good. Pretty good breakfast. Remember this hotel is small and more like a boutique style. True to the local culture.
