Hotel Restaurant Chartreuse in Hünibach is located at a 2-km distance from Thun, just 200 metres from the beach and the ship pier at Lake Thun. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. From the comfortable, modern and spacious rooms to the friendly staff and owners taking care of you the entire stay. Just wonderful. Their restaurant serves great Italian food as well.

Set in Thun, 31 km from Bärengraben, Dependance Stella del Lago by Hotel Restaurant Bellevue au Lac offers accommodation with free WiFi. Fantastic views over the lake. The bus stop is right across the street for trips into Thun. The public bus service is free for tourists who book and stay in accommodation in the area. The WiFi was fast and strong. The room had a lovely terrace overlooking the lake. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is a good size and water pressure is very good in the shower. Parking was very good but after we had booked the room with free parking the hotel tried to charge us for the parking. It was eventually resolved after we presented the free parking confirmation. Staff (particularly Patricia) on the front desk were very helpful.

We enjoyed staying at the property that had beautiful views of the mountains and the lake from the balcony and breakfast nook. It was so nice to have a complete kitchen to prepare a few meals. The Raclette pans, free parking, and washing machine were great added features. The location is ideal, just up the hill from 3 supermarkets, 7 mins away from Thun and less than 1 hr drive to Interlaken. I would stay here again.
