The flat is very spacious, 7 people can stay there without a problem. I would recommend this flat for family traveling without any bit of hesitation. The kitchen is well equipped including some basic spices, hence you can actually cook there. Everything was perfectly clean. The flat is well connected to the city center by trans and buses.

YouthMents - Student Hotel enjoys a location in Riga, 2.1 miles from Riga Town Hall Square and 2.2 miles from House of Blackheads. If you like to stay a little off the city center to live like a temporary local like me, I can’t recommend this place highly enough! 1. Walking to the city center is about 50 minutes. You can walk through beautiful parks, and you can walk across 2 different bridges, each taking you to slightly different spots. 2. On a day when you don’t want to walk all the way, take a train from Tornakalns, for just one stop to Riga. The fare is more than reasonable. 3. A small Maxima X super market nearby. A much bigger Maxima XXX is 16-minute walk away. Very convenient for grocery shopping. 4. I stayed for a week. To be a temporary local, I usually have to clean the entire floor on the day of arrival because it’s going to be my home. Not this place. The building is new, but not brand new, but because the cleaning job the staff does is so impeccable, it was incredibly clean! 5. The apartment is small, but everything is arranged so smartly to utilize the space to the max, and provides everything I possibly need. Also the unit is visually pleasing. 6. Check in is with a QR code which was sent beforehand. Because I travel abroad only with wifi, I took a photo of it, copied and pasted it to Note, and saved it to iBook. It turned out I didn’t have to be this paranoid. Even the copy on iPhone Note worked.
