The vineyards, cows, chickens and views make this a memorable stay away from crowds and road noise. Breakfast was in a lovely setting and the breads were fresh and plentiful. Basic rooms make this an economical stay.

New, modern, clean, nice hotel in strategic place. Very good breakfast. Quiet in day and night. P&R parking just across the streat (free on weekends, 2€ per day in a week) Train station very close.

Quiet location but not too far off the main roads for travelling onto Austria. Lovely walk up the hill to acres of vineyards & spectacular views of the countryside.

Wulf Singapur

The apartment appeared rather new, was very clean, and equipped with all the cooking/bathing/laundry/cleaning facilities needed for a longer stay (our small family stayed for 12 nights). Quiet and cozy, despite nearby industry. Fast and no-fuss WiFi. The big screen TV also came with a HDMI cable allowing it to be hooked up to our laptop. The apartment is located at the eastern fringes of Fellbach. On foot, it is 1.9 km to Fellbach railway station, 1.1 km to nearest tram station, 0.5 km to nearest bus stops, and 0.5 km to a shopping center with a supermarket. There are both train and tram connections to Stuttgart airport, which was a factor for us given looming railway strikes at the time of our visit. Fellbach is just within Stuttgart’s inner city public transport tariff zone, which means most attractions can be reached using the cheapest (single zone) public transport ticket. From just south of the apartment, it is a beautiful hike through farmland, vineyards and forested hills to destinations such as the royal burial chapel at Rotenberg, the century-old viewing tower on mount Kernen, the legendary Katharinenlinde tree, or to the medieval town of Esslingen. While we never met our host in person, he was extremely responsive and caring, frequently checking with us through email if there were any problems. (On the first weekend, we encountered a problem with a faulty valve supplying water to the washing machine, which our host arranged to get repaired within a few days while we were out.) He was also very accomodating in arranging much earlier than usual check-in after learning that we arrived at Stuttgart in the morning after a very long flight (thank you so much!) We were extremely happy with the accomodation and our host, and would not hesitate to come again.
