The property was quiet on a relatively busy street with good access to main roads (A1 etc.). The facilities were of a normal home, perhaps needs a chopping board for the kitchen (I may not have seen it), but otherwise great. The host was very amenable and called if and when we had small issues, and made a point of contacting us the following day to check things were good.

As good a standard as any Holiday Inn we have stayed at worldwide ! The staff are fantastic, even senior staff getting stuck in to help smooth running in the restaurant . We paid a few quid extra for an executive room on the top floor which was well worth it the room absolutely spotless with lovely views over the countryside. Excellent breakfast buffet and despite being busy with a coach party all sitting at once in the restaurant the dinner service was quick and efficient with a good choice of menu. We stayed three nights to explore Northumbria and proved an excellent choice of location particularly for Hadrian’s Wall .

Visited family and the house was incredibly comfortable and communication with Laura was fantastic. We felt very welcome. Quiet and residential but very easy walking distance to town. The house spacious, comfortable and very well furnished. Everything you needed and worked very well for us. Amazing stay. Thank you, Laura!! We would definitely stay again.
