Property was clean, and beautiful. The owner also runs the restaurant which had fantastic homemade food, and the great intimate atmosphere were both tourists at locals would come. Whenever we come to Soughia we stay at Santa Irene and it always is this "coming home" feeling which we appreciate and enjoy so much. We find the ideal combination of cozy accomodation and friendly owners and staff. The rooms are tidy, the shower was really powerful, the garden is like a little paradise to relax, the restaurant offers food and drinks all day long, the view is fantastic and the chairs are very comfortable to hang around and just look into the wide endlessness of the blue sea. There are beds on the beach and everything is kept clean and tidy. There is a lot of passion and work from the owners and all the staff to offer this perfect holiday feeling to the guests. Been to Soughia so many times and Santa Irene has become our homebase there. We will be back!

The hosts are both welcoming and considerate of all your needs. We arrived late and Katerina provided supplies for supper and breakfast, as well as fruit bowl and extra treats such as her home made Walnut Liquer. The villa itself is wonderful - one of the best views I have seen! It is very isolated, just you, some passing goats and the stars at night, there are no neighbours, and no one to disturb you - yet we felt very safe and secure at the property. The pool is delightful on a hot afternoon, and the seating arranged around the villa ensures plenty of shade and sun, whichever your preference. Beds are comfy and plenty of space in the villa - although there was just the two of us. It is away from main towns and amenities (for us that was the appeal), but there is an outstanding restaurant in Temenia and a great little local traditional store about 10 min drive away. If you want a break away from it all and truly relax in the most wonderful of settings, the BMVV is perfect! We will be back!
