The ocean view from unit #6 which we occupied was outstanding. The unit was cozy with a double bed, as well as an attic with 2 bed/mattresses which would have been excellent for someone travelling with children. There was a hot tub (made in shape of boat, or old boat made into hot tub)
The location is one of the best I have ever stayed in. Surrounded by mountains and the sea. The baby fox was a big crowd-puller and kept people enthralled with his antics. The hot tub is a big plus. The host was very easy to communicate with as well.
Great location with views up and down the fjord, but windy. We stayed for one night in a larger cabin having booked months in advance. Cosy and compact but all the essentials included. Very little nearby - bring your own food! Hot tub was fun - and we met the resident Arctic Fox.
Great location for viering Eastern Iceland, from Seydisfjördur over Bakkagerdi to the Hengifoss.
Amazing setting with great view in the local mountain and fjord.
Cosy cottage with an open space to enjoy together with the family. Good cooking facilities for small meals. Comfortable beds.
Fun hot tub. And sweet little polar fox hanging around it.
the hosts were very nice and child friendly, The guesthouse, incl. the shared bathrooms and showers, was nice and clean, they had good breakfast/ coffee.
A very welcoming, family-run place. It's a simple building with rooms and a bar/breakfast area. The owner is a friendly Icelandic lady who was up for a good chat. Rooms were clear and comfortable enough. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Breakfast was good!
This place is amazing. very charming, hosts are very friendly and professional. Our cottage was very clean, warm and cosy. Kids loved our stay, they especially enjoyed the outside bathtub.
nice family-run modern property, very friendly staff, in a beautiful fjord small town, close to the water. clean rooms, good beds, good bathroom, breakfast simple and not very satisfying. conveniently located for visiting the east fjords and better (less expensive) alternative than Egilsstadir.
Amazing location on a small patch of land jutting out into the sea. Several houses in the same location and one larger house where they serve breakfast. Great place for a single family or multiple families that each have their own house. Great hot tub and laundry facilities.
