Had such a lovely stay and the hosts were so welcoming and kind enough to pick us up from the bus station after our hectic journey. There was even a bottle of Prosecco and home made cakes waiting for us which was such a cute touch ☺️ Mari & her husband were such lovely hosts, it was a lovely stay and lovely property. Would definitely stay again and recommend

The location was easy to access and had excellent views from every window and balcony. Quiet with a nice breeze. The washer came in handy. Best of all the owner was very detailed and able to reach if you have questions.

Everything was great! The owner Alessandro is very nice, takes the time to personally greet you and explain everything to you. The flat is newly renovated, everything works great and it is fully furnished. The location is perfect, 2min walk from the port to one side and 2min to the main town square in the other direction. Menaggio is also the perfect starting point to further explore the lake shore. I didn't miss anything!

This is a lovely apartment that surpassed expectations. Our charming host kindly rescued us from a landing stage some miles away when we arrived from across the Lake at night some 2 hours later than scheduled, and generously invited me to join his family walk another day in the hills. He even phoned after our departure to wish us well with the remaining holiday. The flat is beautifully furnished in a modern style, with every facility and a full kitchen. The location, on a communal lawn with similar gated properties, is entirely silent (except for greeting the occasional elderly couple strolling by), and enjoys wonderful views down onto the lake, with mountain and village views over some 120°. The perfect place for a complete rest. (One reservation is that the flat could benefit from a gate across the open stairway down into the optional basement sitting-room. We marked this with an obstruction for safety at night.) The excellent Hotel Royal is some 250 m. away (turn right up the hill, then left into the first side road, or go the more scenic way, the reverse), and offers a varied menu, with the use of the pool perhaps if you ask politely. It should be pointed out that there are very few taxis in town, and that they charge some €17 for a five minute ride up the steep hill to the venue, if ever you can find or call one, which is unlikely. Therefore you would profit from your own transport or from stout legs to tackle the 20+ minute hike up from the supermarket. If walking down, you can take the cobbled stairway or alley directly into the town, some 80m before a major crossroads (and the only café) some 1/2 mile below the flat; each part of that walk is scenic. This path is missing from all maps including Google, but the route is much less convoluted than one might think from the serpentine roadways. We certainly hope to visit here again. Exceptional. Really beautiful, unobstructed view of lake como. The house had everything we needed plus some extras (items for the pool when it’s open.). The welcome basket full of yummy Italian snacks and wine was a lovely touch especially given the odd hours of the local grocery stores. Easy 10 minute walk on a pedestrian path to the ferry and into town. Garage parking was also a plus. Also a nice little playhouse and kids books for small children. Highly recommend and would stay again.

The location was decent, just a 15 minute walk from the lake, room was comfortable and well equipped. The hosts were extremely accommodating and respectful.
