The horses of the neighboring farm could be seen from the window of the hotel room. The hotel room had a separate entrance, the apartment had a very homely feel.

Private and yet you have hosts right at your hand if needed. Very safe and nice surroundings. You can park your car right in front of the cottage it is a big plus as we were making our way home from the UK (and I needed to tidy up our belongings as they were all over the car at that time - so here I had peace and space to do it). Inside the cottage it is very well equipped, nice, clean and tidy. Just all you need to relax and get your energy back. Bed was big and comfy so we got some good sleep there.

Agnes is a treasure. She is warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Next time we are in Chimay, it will be our first choice to stay.

Overall, good food in associated restaurant (but entrecote steak was, frankly, "chewy" for the most part). Spacious apartment with its own private garden area ... extremely well equipped (own Vaillant boiler in bathroom). Quality of sleep in lovely, extra large bed was without comparison ! Overall: very well appointed 2-bedroom flat. Would I return ? Yes, definitely !
