We spent 9 nights in the hostel. A hostel is exactly the type of accommodation that suits me. It's not luxury, but I don't look for that when I travel. I prefer the charm of the place. And that's exactly what I found here. I felt very comfortable there. The room was OK. The private bathroom was OK. Hot water always. I liked sitting in the hall and in the garden. The team that works in the hostel are friendly people. They were very helpful in organizing the climb to Cerro Toco. It was enough to ask and they organized everything very well.

Secure parking. Clean and very comfortable room. Property appears new or recently refurbished. Really lovely. Highly recommended. Maria the manager/ owner was incredibly efficient, kind and knowledgeable and helped us with changing a tire on our car that had a puncture. Brilliant.

The location was very quiet and safe with a wonderful view on the volcanoes/stars (especially from their roof top lounge area). Especially the staff / host were very helpful and gave me a lot of insights regarding places to visit and at which time. They were also a great help with booking bus tickets to Calama / Antofagasta for me which was not possible as a foreigner with European debit / credit cards. The laundry service provided at the hostel was also very convenient and a major plus.

A lovely setup with lots of friendly staff who will go above and beyond to make you feel at home. A great place to meet people if you are solo travelling as the common areas are very cosy and there are usually organised activities or shared meals each evening. I will never forget my stay here, the owner has done an excellent job in building this place. Oh, and I almost forgot the most gentle and sweet dog living there, called Pale. Would 100% recommend!

It's a bit out of town, down bumpy gravel roads but so worth it. A lovely get away and I felt wrapped in the coziness of a working ranch. A large comfortable and clean independent space to stay. Meeting the friendly and helpful staff and the even friendlier animals. The stars at night, we left our door open so often found myself cuddling with a cat. Just a joy of a place to stay.

Just a 20 minute walk from the town centre, Planeta Atacama Lodge offers accommodation in the desert of San Pedro de Atacama. Free WiFi access is available throughout the property. Franklin and his wife Carla run an amazing B&B, a little outside the city which makes it a very good spot for star gazing. Since we came by ourselves with a rented car, Franklin gave us very good tips of where to go, suggesting routes, helping us with purchasing tickets for the places we wanted to go and giving us restaurant recommendations. Breakfast is generous and personalized and even when we needed to leave very early one day, they made an effort to leave a snack for us to go.

Tucked away in a tranquil valley located next to Pucará de Quitor, Nayara Alto Atacama offers all-inclusive accommodation packages in San Pedro de Atacama. Amazing property located a bit out of San Pedro, which allows a great view of the night sky. Service was outstanding. All the staff went above and beyond to help, and I’d like to give a thanks to Francia, Tamara, Diego and Ricardo for taking the time to make the stay even better. The room was comfortable with high quality amenities.
