Don Tomas felt like an oasis resort in the middle of the desert with warm, comfortable rooms and a nice pool with grassy areas to sunbathe. It's a 7-minute walk to the center of San Pedro so it's quiet and away from the tourist area. The staff were very friendly and helpful, as has been the case for my entire trip around Chile! Franklin was especially helpful with arranging transportation and giving suggestions on things to do in Atacama.

Offering a terrace and inner courtyard view, Pirca Hostal is situated in San Pedro de Atacama, 28 km from Termas de Puritama and 700 metres from San Pedro Church. The location and the host were in perfect harmony. The location is 5 min walk from the main square, meaning that you are still close but away from all the noise. In addition, if you want to do your souvenir shopping than the market close to the hostel is much cheaper and more local. The best point of the place was the host Victor, who made us feel so welcome and did everything to make this one of our best holidays!

Featuring a garden and views of garden, CaminAndes Hostal is a recently renovated bed and breakfast set in San Pedro de Atacama, 6.8 km from Piedra del Coyote. We spent 9 nights in the hostel. A hostel is exactly the type of accommodation that suits me. It's not luxury, but I don't look for that when I travel. I prefer the charm of the place. And that's exactly what I found here. I felt very comfortable there. The room was OK. The private bathroom was OK. Hot water always. I liked sitting in the hall and in the garden. The team that works in the hostel are friendly people. They were very helpful in organizing the climb to Cerro Toco. It was enough to ask and they organized everything very well.

Providing mountain views, Peumayen Atacama cabaña&Hostal in San Pedro de Atacama provides accommodation, pool with a view, a garden, barbecue facilities and a shared lounge. The private patio was superb - a real treat to enjoy in the afternoon and evening. Overlooking a nice open space and could enjoy the sunrise. What a way to start the day! The cabin was spacious with large living area - 2 bedroom with bath. Owner was very proud of his hotel and interested in our day trips. Small hotel with a variety of rooms. It is outside of town so very quiet and peaceful.

Hostal Tulvak Atacama is set in San Pedro de Atacama, 29 km from Termas de Puritama, 1.1 km from San Pedro Church, and 2.8 km from Pukará de Quitor. It's the best value for the money accommodation in San Pedro. The place is very new, clean, tidy, quiet, comfortable. It's well equipped with anything that you need (shower gel, hand soap, towels, hairdryer, heater/cooler), it has a large kitchen for common use and a very beautiful terrace/lounge where to dine and to relax. It's a bright place with plenty natural light, beautifully decorated. The owners are the kindest persons which you can wish to meet, I felt them like my parents away from home. They were 100% available, willing to help with anything and always with a big, genuine smile. I couldn't ask for more during my stay.

Atacama Checar, Hostal, a property with a terrace, is situated in San Pedro de Atacama, 10 km from Piedra del Coyote, 31 km from Termas de Puritama, as well as 2.9 km from San Pedro Church. The staff was amazing! I don't speak Spanish, but they used Google translate on their phone to communicate. They were very kind and helpful, and when I had to leave very early in the morning, they even left me a to-go snack in lieu of breakfast! Very nice!

Offering garden views, Cabañas Voyage Atacama in San Pedro de Atacama offers accommodation, free bikes, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Hosta were very friendly! Cottages area comfortable and cozy. Perlita the baby dog is the best thing ever!

Boasting a patio with inner courtyard views, an outdoor swimming pool and a garden, Casa Voyage Hostel can be found in San Pedro de Atacama, close to San Pedro Church and 7.9 km from Piedra del... A lovely setup with lots of friendly staff who will go above and beyond to make you feel at home. A great place to meet people if you are solo travelling as the common areas are very cosy and there are usually organised activities or shared meals each evening. I will never forget my stay here, the owner has done an excellent job in building this place. Oh, and I almost forgot the most gentle and sweet dog living there, called Pale. Would 100% recommend!
