Lovely old house in the old part of the city with its own hidden courtyard. Julie is very helpful and attentive and we had a super home made breakfast.

Our room was large and comfortable, with seating area, large bathroom, Nespresso Coffee machine, and a very good breakfast. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend a stay here for one night or more.

Clean and tranquil location, well placed for our cycling trip to La Rochelle, safe storage for our bikes and an excellent breakfast. There was only a takeaway pizza shop in the village for dinner (& it was a Sunday night) but we were able to eat the pizzas with a bottle of wine bought from the same shop in the delightful sheltered space outside the Venise Verte and use the provided cutlery and glasses from the little shared kitchen
