The food is the best we had in Scotland up till now. The room is very pleasant with a homey feel. The staff are very friendly. We even got a box of chocolates in our room and also a special treat for our celebration. I will definitely be back. This time with my dog, since they are very welcome there.

Situated in Dreghorn, 18 km from Ayr Racecourse, Dundonald Links features accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The property and facilities were amazing. The staff in particular were friendly, knowledgeable about the area and facilities and couldn’t do more for you. The food was absolutely fabulous as well. Definitely one of the best breaks I’ve had in years.

Located in West Tarbert and only 35 km from Kilmartin House Museum, West Loch House provides accommodation with lake views, free WiFi and free private parking. Perfect location for the Kennacraig ferry. Bruce was SO LOVELY and welcoming, we wish we could’ve stayed longer!!!! Our room was so cute and absolutely sparkling clean, as was the rest of the property. It is definitely on my list of places to return and spend more time at!! I wish I could rate them higher than a perfect 10!

Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Killean Farmhouse B&B is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Inveraray, 7.8 km from Inveraray Castle. Everything! Out of all the places we stayed, this by far was the best. The family that manages the place were very nice and helpful. Definitely would recommend this place..the views was beautiful the breakfast was amazing and love the little town.

Saphire Glasgow Apartments is situated in Giffnock, 4.7 km from Pollok Country Park, 6.9 km from House for an Art Lover, as well as 7.2 km from Glasgow Central Station. Excellent host. He text to give us very clear instructions on how to access the property and make arrangements for collecting the keys. He met us to give us the key, was available on the phone prior to and during our stay and answered any query we had immediately. The apartment was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was very warm and we were shown how to control the heating. Milk, soft drinks, biscuits, toiletries and towels were left for our use. Extra bedding was provided in case we needed it. Area was very central but felt safe at night. I will definitely stay here again.
