Stationer Inn ligger i Hokitika och har en trädgård och en terrass. Alla rum har ett pentry och ett eget badrum med en kaklad duschkabin. We were made very welcome by the owner, the room was very clean, the wet room was excellent with constant hot water. We had a lovely meal on our last night in the restaurant.

Jackson's Retreat Alpine Holiday Park ligger i en fantastisk historisk regnskog och vandringsled. Här erbjuds 5-stjärnigt boende med tillgång till en trädgård och en grill. Great location, wonderful nature ambiance, there's even a nice waterfall hike and glowworms at the property. It's very calm, the Kiwi room was very comfy (and near the bathrooms so no long walks in the cold to the shower 😉). The amenities were nearby and offered everything we needed, and there is even a small shop at the reception for your basic needs. Our only regret is that we didn't book another night here as well.

Situated in Ross, 23 km south of Hokitika, with some of the worlds most beautiful and rugged coastlines, Ross Beach Top10 Holiday Park is an absolute beachfront property with limited WiFi availability... Sitting in the outside bathtub watching the stars and hearing the crashing waves of the ocean. Never will forget!

A Touch of Class ligger i Greymouth, 1,7 km från Greymouth järnvägsstation och 43 km från Punakaiki Scenic Attraction, och erbjuder boende med en trädgård och luftkonditionering. It felt like home. The hosts seem to really care about the comfort of their guests. I have nothing but the words of praise for everything.

At The Ghost Lodge, 2 sets of French doors open out to a sunny deck that has sea views and a spa pool. Great host! The lodge is very clean and the decor interesting. We heard the waves crashing all night. Simon built us a fire overlooking the ocean as the sun was setting. Magical!

Ropatinis Homestay B&B ligger bara 700 meter från den fantastiska Fox Glacier. Här erbjuds mysigt boende i en välskött trädgård med utomhusaktiviteter och gratis WiFi. Läget med bergen Mount Cook och Mount Tasman?, mitt framför boendet var väldigt vackert. Ägaren var mycket serviceminded och trevlig. Nära till aktiviteter., mysiga rum och bra frukost.

Alpine Rose Motel ligger 3 minuters bilresa från Greymouths centrum och erbjuder rum med gratis Wi-Fi, platt-TV med 50 eller fler satellitkanaler och matlagningsmöjligheter. The staff were really friendly greeting us, explaining the room and local area, while having a nice chat with us on booking in. The apartment exceeded expectations with lots of space and all the facilities to be comfortable for an extended stay. The location was ideal with a supermarket a short walk away and then the main town centre further down the road. Although on the main road, the low speed limit meant it wasn’t overly noisy during the night.
