For travelers in search of an experience, nothing says authentic country living like a stay at a private, working farm. Hosts might offer interactive kid-friendly activities or for couples, a cozy haven in an original/converted farmhouse. Breakfast is usually included – you may even be collecting the eggs yourself!
The Barn is truly fabulous, even better in real time. The kitchen and living area is huge, the grounds are beautiful. As for the beds my guests and I founds them to be extremely comfortable
A very quaint converted hay barn. We loved the rural views, the room was cute although it was very cold until I got the heating working ( never really worked in the shower room. Be aware it is only porridge in the room which was fine for us on this occasion . The bed was comfortable although only 3 pillows not 4.
The barn is insane, it’s very homely and very welcoming. It was very easy to find on the Sat Nav. The host was extremely helpful and made us feel welcome from the minute we got out of the car. The Barn is decorated well, it’s got a lovely cottage/warm vibe. The views are incredible. Will definitely stay again!
A wonderful place to stay. Our room was spotless and well laid out, with everything you need for a stay away from home. Located in a rural area with fab local walks and the chance to see deer and badgers but near enough to great foody pubs and local attractions.
Breakfast in your room is a real treat as is being greeted by the owner’s beagles Dottie and Cookie.
Beautiful village pub, with lovely converted barn to stay in, had a great evening meal with top quality produce, at a sensible price, just a shame we had to leave before breakfast.
I liked that the room was inside a converted barn and was very nicely laid out with a cosy bathroom. The room had a window in the roof with an electric blind so you could block out the light when needed.
