Maso Grener is a great house with multiple guest rooms and breathtaking views out of wineyards around. Hosts are extremely friendly and very attentive to details. We enjoyed every minute of stay there. I could definitely recommend and I will certainly come again! P.S. If the weather is too hot, you can cool down with the ice cream in the nearest Gelateria Serafini.

Casa da Carmen was a great stopover between the Dolomites and Verona. Situated in the small town of Mezzolombardo, the B&B is a separate building that is co-located on the same property where the owner and his family live. On the day of my arrival, I was greeted at the secure gate by Mirko, the owner and architect of the hotel. Despite the language barrier (I don't speak Italian) Mirko gave me a thorough tour and explained the facility. The room was modern, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and well appointed with everything a weary traveler needs. As an added bonus, he presented me with a complementary bottle of sparkling wine. I reserved a room with private patio and jacuzzi, but was too tired to take advantage. However, the room was well equipped with spa essentials such as extra towels, robes, etc. The included breakfast was generous and delicious featuring fresh fruit from Mirko's garden. Overall this was a great stay and highly recommended for southbound travelers weary from hiking, skiing or just plain exploring.
