This beautifully designed and cosily furnished cottage is an absolute gem! You can enjoy the amazing view into nature from inside through the big windows, from the big porch or - and this was our big highlight - from the fire-heated hot tub. At night you can watch the stars sitting in the hot tub with nothing but nature around. It is simply beautiful and a great place to calm down, relax and enjoy the quiet away from all street noise. Since it is entirely off the grid, it is not affected by loadshedding. We’d highly recommend taking a factory tour in the olive oil factory with Allison while there. Both Allison and Francis are very welcoming, friendly and caring hosts. If we ever make it back to South Africa, the trip up to the farm with this special cottage will be a must on the itenerary!

Located 7 km from the town of Stellenbosch, Gemoedsrus Farm features views of the surrounding winelands and offers amenities including an outdoor swimming pool and barbecue facilities. Amazing stay. The place is even more stunning than I expected. Excellent service and beautiful breakfast.

It was the perfect getaway experience. They put a lot of effort into making sure that the guests are comfortable. The accommodation was clean and beautiful, and the pool was fantastic! :)

Set 4 km outside of Stellenbosch, Wildlife Retreat on a Wine-Farm is situated on Remhoogte Wine Estate. The working farm boasts views of the Stellenbosch mountains, vineyards and a game camp. Everything is to be like about this place! It has such a beautiful view with zebras in the backyard and amazing landscaping views! Also, the place is so beautifully decorated and it makes you want to stay forever!

Rustic, peaceful and very comfortable. You get the benefit of feeling like you are on a farm whilst still only a short walk into town. Farm fresh eggs, milk and rusks provided in the kitchen as well as local wine selection all added a welcome touch. The outdoor shower from which you can see the mountains was also a highlight.

Featuring a swimming pool, a shared lounge, a garden and views of the garden, Raptor Rise is located in Tulbagh and provides accommodation with free WiFi. Raptor Rise is in a very peaceful location with nice views of the mountains. The sunsets ere amazing. If you want to get away from it all this is the place. The room was very clean and bright. Everything you needed although a little compact. There are 3 or 4 wineries within a 5 minute drive and also a brewery/restaurant. Everything very handy if you don’t want to self cater. There is a small bbq outside each room and also a communal large kitchen area. There is a small swimming pool. The chickens are running round in the morning which is amusing.

Offering an outdoor pool and a restaurant, Boschendal Farm Estate is located in Simondium, a 10-minute drive from Franschhoek. Free WiFi access is available. We loved the mountains and nature. Staff is very helpful and kind. Breakfast can be the most delicious breakfast that we have in Cape Town. You can hear voice of birds in the morning and feel like you are at home.

Nestled on a working wine and olive farm in the the Robertson's valley, Orange Grove features luxurious self-catering chalets with a private veranda and plunge pool. Beautiful quite place with a lot of privacy.

Boasting views over the valley, Saronsberg Vineyard Cottages offers cosy cottages with a lounge area. The surroundings, the friendly staff, the fully equipped appartment, the wine-tasting at the property. We had a lovely stay here. Did some walks in the area (Duikersdrift, Murludi). Just loved the overall experience.
