My husband and I had the most glorious weekend here. While the hotel and location are stunning and even moreso when decorated for Christmas, it was the staff that really made our trip special. Everyone was warm, friendly, passionate about the hotel, and treated us like family. Highlights were the dinner at the new Woven restaurant which was spectacular, and a walk around Virginia Water. The manager even gave me a beautiful tin of Coworth afternoon blend tea to take away! We really appreciated the team's friendly, personal approach. While it's not a cheap hotel, extras such as water and breakfast, and even a bottle of Veuve Cliquot in our room, were included so we didn't feel we overpaid at any point.

My wife and I were returning from our honeymoon and had a layover in London. Our flight was first delayed and then cancelled in the wee hours of the morning, and we were asked to leave the airport and find our own place to sleep. Abdi and his colleagues checked us in after 2 a.m., with no trouble at all. The hotel itself is wonderfully maintained, and the breakfast was excellent.
