The apartment was lovely, as was our wonderful host. We had a warmly welcome and enjoyed our stay very much. The bathroom with the whirlpool was wonderful. Also the breakfast was really good. The location itself had the positive side, that we were close to a wonderful trail with several beautiful waterfalls.

Was there to hike in Blue Mountain and go to Megalong Lot 101 for dinner. Kubba Roonga was a great place to stay. The proprietors are exceedingly friendly and do a great job with providing a wonderfully slightly eccentric place to stay with plenty of room and great accommodations. I will definitely stay there again next time visiting the area.

Dantosa Blue Mountain Retreat was one of my favorite properties I had the opportunity to enjoy while on my 20 day “Walkabout”road trip in Australia! I stayed in a beautiful 3 bedroom counrty cottage with a fabulous view! What a delight to wake up and see the sunrise fall upon the pond while laying in my comfortable bed sipping delicious coffee! It’s the PERFECT location off the busy beat and path of of Blue Mountain explorers. It’s just a five minutes drive from downtown, yet it was like I had a private forest and gorgeous Estate to myself! You just can’t beat the location for privacy and convenience to adventure in the Blue Mountains. The staff welcomed me with a handwritten welcome note, homemade loaf of scrumptious Banana & butter in the refrigerator. They put together a lovely fruit basket for me as well. Loved the personal touches of fresh cut flowers on the dining room table! The accommodations are positively lovely with beautiful flower gardens. I am a solo traveler, however it would’ve been perfect for family. The kids room had a cute twin bed and bunkbeds with a nice bathroom. The cottage had two master bedrooms beautifully decorated! The Kitchen appliances were impressive, everything and anything you might need for a fantastic weekend cooking with the family. I’ve been on the road for several weeks, so it was fantastic to have a washer and dryer with soap ready to prepare me for my next adventures in clean britches! Derek was a super host keeping in contact with me throughout my day of driving with detailed property directions and OVER the top professional customer service! He gave me fantastic recommendations for restaurants and sites not to miss in the local area!

Possum Hideway proved to be a beautiful private location. Easy to get to by car and only a short drive from the main hub attractions of Katoomba and Leura. Facilities were modern and clean. The fireplace being prepared for our use was a big highlight (as we've never built one before!) and the heater being turned on to warm our room for our late check-in was amazing! The late check-in and complimentary 12 pm check-out were a dream! 100% would recommend it, and would stay again!

Perfect location to walk to town, quiet street with a leafy outlook. Great for a family or couples. Lovely large fireplace and comfortable lounge area. Considerate to have a small supply of olive oil, napkins, dishwashing tablets and cleaning stuff. Every area was clean and the linen was hotel quality. Very quiet location. We will be back again.
