This was an exceptional stay, I can't recommend the Belle Vue Guesthouse more highly. It started with a friendly phonecall from Mick when I had a query about the payment (I'd emailed him and he phoned me back within minutes to sort out my query). I arrived feeling the welcome from hosts Mick and Tracy. I asked if a desk was available for my room (as I was doing some work while on this trip) - there wasn't one immediately available, but Mick ordered one on Amazon and it was in place the next day! That's really good service, more than I would have expected (it also allowed me to stay an extra three days beyond my original four day stay). The breakfast was amazing - a really wide selection, including a delicious fruit platter which helped my day off to a great start (and nice croissant, toast, coffee). Room was very comfortable and a decent size, and cleaned daily. Bathroom excellent (it was ensuite). Price very reasonable for the quality of what was provided. I also really liked the location, very central in Glastonbury for the Tor, Chalice Well, Wearyall Hill, and the town centre. (Not much more than 5 minutes from all of these, perhaps 10 for the Tor).

What I liked most was being in nature, having the sheep and horses grazing in front of me. Being able to get home at the end of the day and enjoy the view of the Tor and the silence of the countryside . The room was very comfortable for one person, with everything needed to make small meals, clean and well maintained.

Paula, the owner, is super friendly and very welcoming. Very nice room, with the option to have it set up as a double bed or as two single beds. Room is beautifully decorated (as is the rest of the property), and the bathroom is absolutely great. Very clean property overall. Breakfast is amazing.

Set in the most tranquil and idyllic location Foxglove is a beautiful cabin with amazing views. The accommodation is superb and incredibly spacious. The decor and furniture is gorgeous, modern and in incredible condition. Facilities were great and the hosts were welcoming, kind and super helpful. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait to return to this wonderful place.

This was a perfect, tranquil location…lovely to be surrounded by nature and wonderful pond for swimming and kayaking. My family had a fantastic time and we would certainly hope to return.

Beautiful and serene location, fantastic host, great accommodation- what’s not to love? Jo kindly allowed our son to feed carrots to the horses - a highlight of his stay. Totally recommend.

The Rose cottage was ideal for our trip to Glastonbury, a central location close to all the main attractions but in a quiet and peaceful street beside St Benedict’s Church . For those you are spiritually minded, the cottage is just perfect , every room is infused with such love and attention to detail, (yes even the bathroom) specifically focused for those on their path. From every book , CD and DVD (although it took a visit to Wells for me to realise why ‘Hot Fuzz’ was in the movie collection lol) every painting , tapestry and ornament, even different incense left to use . Kitchen had all mod cons and provisions for breakfast were very kindly provided for our first morning. The beds and pillows were so comfortable , I slept soundly having wonderful dreams !! And the bonus was the owner of the cottage is a fantastic and very knowledgeable guide of Glastonbury’s spiritual sites , I had so many questions answered on the tour, of questions I didn’t even know I needed answered !! A very special thank you to John and Meredith for creating such a wonderful loving space for those on the spiritual path .

I was surprised that being a small hotel, there were so many details that had been taken care of (nice toiletries, fine coffee and tea in the room) It was really clean and with decoration details. Graham and his wife are wonderful hosts. They made you feel very welcomed in their place. Last but not at all least, the breakfast was superb! Lots of variety specially cooked for you. Location is a 10 minute ride from Glastonbury, so we found that very convenient. Wonderful stay! Warm atmosphere! Highly recommendable hotel! Thank you Graham
