Excellent location in the middle of sheep farms in rural Northumberland. Very quiet and serene. Our host was extremely friendly and helpful. Around the property, you can hike around the nearby villages and farms. There are several walking trails and public footpaths that you can take to access little rivers and forests. Rooms are decent sized, with a comfortable bed. we slept like logs. Good range of toiletries provided and hot water throughout the day. Breakfast was excellent - mushrooms, tomatoes, bacon, sausages, eggs (your style) and amazing fried bread.

The accommodation was just fabulous. We had a lovely Easter weekend here. The gardens are beautiful, would love to see them in summer. We left the car in the public car park just over the bridge (2 min walk). Corbridge is a lovely wee town. Plenty pubs, restaurants and nice shops to browse. We had a great meal in Casa Rosa, just round the corner from the house. Staff were just so friendly and all at a very reasonable cost. Had a meal in the Black Bull. Again staff were so nice and meal was not expensive. We did not do much travelling around the area as we have visited Northumberland many times but Corbridge is a perfect base to visit lots of interesting areas if you want to. Everywhere is dog friendly, even the bookshop and art gallery, and there are lots of nice dog walks on the doorstep. I suspect we will be back to this accommodation, so that kind of says it all. The best location and facilities we have enjoyed for many a year. The hosts had gone out their way to provide everything we would need and the decor and fittings were immaculate. The hosts were friendly and available and lived in the main cottage/house with a garden ( we could roam)that gave access to the river and its views. Stunning sunsets. River walks a doddle and just across the road.

100% Value for money. Ideal location and a perfect base to explore Corbridge and the surrounding area. The accommodation is lovely - very cosy and comfortable and has everything you'd need. The hosts were great and there were some little added touches which add that little bit extra to a wonderful accommodation to warrant a top score.

The provisions provided on arrival were very good, no rush to go out to the shop. There were plenty of places to eat in the location. I would certainly return to this property. I have also recommended it to family already
