This family-run hotel is next to the Grövlan River, 2 km from Grövelfjäll Ski Resort. It offers gourmet cuisine, free Wi-Fi and a relaxation area with sauna and outside hot tub. Good breakfast but no fish and not very much fruit or vegetables. The food standard was generally good and we like being able to make a packed lunch from the breakfast table.

Overlooking Lake Siljan, this hotel is 1 km from Rättvik Train Station and the Storgatan shopping street. WiFi and parking are free. Access to a gym, hot tub and sauna is also free. The Staff upon our early arrival. CARIN, you are worth your weight in gold.... exceptional customer service, nothing was too much trouble, and couldnt do enough for us. Thank you Carin so much. I didnt really have the opportunity to see other staff, owing to the odd times of my stay, but im sure the whole team Is just as welcoming and proficient! Hotel beautiful..... location .. just stunning! Facilities incredible... hot tub overlooking the lake was fabulous. The breakfast deserves its own mention... sooooo much variety, all top quality food, cooked perfectly, my compliments to the kitchen staff, and the cleaning staff.. the place was spotless! Room sizeable and very comfortable. I wish i could live in this place! Such a positive experience thanks to Carin and the whole team! Well done guys... I stay in 17 -23 hotels all across europe and the eastern block each month,and this is my favourite of all! I will Definitely be back!!!

Housed in a 15th-century farmhouse, this Dalarna countryside hotel is 400 meters from Lake Siljan. It offers free Wi-Fi and charming rooms with luxury beds and a flat-screen TV. It’s a lovely family owned hotel with a very long history. The hotel is very cosy with lots of attention to details. We stayed in the main building and everything was easily accessible for my elderly parents. I celebrated my 60th birthday there and it was perfect with a beautiful mini suite and excellent food and wine. It’s a bit expensive but at least we felt it was worthwhile. So rare to find a good hotel that also has a good restaurant. The outdoor heated pool was a lovely place to relax.

Elite Hotel Brage is located in downtown Borlänge in the heart of Dalarna, a 5-minute walk from the Central Train Station. Excellent breakfast, perfect hotel for our travel with 2 days stay. The staff is very service-minded and positive.

Best Western Gustaf Wasa Hotel is located in central Borlänge, just 50 metres from the Central Station. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi access and free private parking. Quiet and peaceful in the center of the AirPort.

Housed in an elegant refurbished 1930s building, this hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Falun Central Station. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, a free evening buffet and free afternoon coffee and cookies. Staff were absolutely amazing, couldn't have done more to help us! The rooms were lovely and had everything we needed.

Situated in Lindvallen ski area in Sälen and only 50 metres from the ski lifts, Hotel Bügelhof offers rooms with rustic decor. A restaurant and bar are available on site. Very nice hotel indeed, the appartment was big enough to accomodate 4 people and a dog, comfortable beds, big and clean bathroom, generous and delicious breakfast. Add a very friendly personal and you will have a very nice vacation. I can only say "thank you"!

This hotel is located in the ski resort of Sälen, 150 metres from the Lindvallen Ski Centre. It offers free sauna access, rooms with flat-screen TVs and excellent skiing opportunities. Nice old building not too big with a local touch. Good breakfast. Close located to ski sloops.

Aquest hotel amb encant està situat al vessant de la muntanya Östfjället Sälen, a 10 minuts a peu dels remuntadors i de les pistes d'esquí de fons de Högfjället. Lovely old hotel which although out of season was fully operational with great management and menu options Quite difficult to find fully open hotels in Northern Sweden in May so this was brilliant

This countryside hotel is in Tällberg, 15 minutes’ drive from both Leksand and Rättvik. It offers an indoor and outdoor pool, saunas and views of Lake Siljan. Amazing view. Great service. Rally nice lady on reception ,very helpful. Loved all stay.
