We stayed in a club suite, which was clean and very spacious. The separate lounge and entry half bathroom meant we could organize private business meeting in room if needed. Happy hour in the foyer which is included in the price of suite meant we never paid for dinner during our stay, NOTE we are early diners and early risers. Staff are very helpful and the cleaners are next level.

    This was our third trip to Barcelona and we highly recommend it. Great shopping and restaurants, especially Restaurante Salamanca! The tour of the Monastery of Montserrat is a must see; however, skip the full day excursion that includes the wine tour and lunch - the food and wine were not that good! The Sunset Cruise by Viator was also excellent!

    All the news about over crowding by tourists is accurate. Saw anti tourism graffiti but nothing else really threatening. We avoided most of the top tourism places. Since we prefer low key countryside settings, Barcelona felt too "big city" for us, but could appeal to others. Don't want to be too negative. Excellent restaurants and generally friendly folks.

    Leonardo Hotel Barcelona Las Ramblas was a great location and a very comfortable place to stay. We ate at a lovely little restaurant, Arume Restaurant (Carrer d'En Botella), with a great staff that made our meal memorable. Booking taxis ahead didn't seem to work. Several families were scrambling on the morning of departure because their pre-arranged taxi did not show and did not communicate they weren't coming. We did better with an Uber driver.

    Barcelona is Amazing! Highly recommend. I was awed by the architecture, the people, the chill and kindness of people there. The food was amazing, plenty of options. It wasn’t that expensive, and you have plenty of things to do. Tickets to main attractions might be a bit expensive, but totally worthy, do not skip themm!

    Great city and I'm so glad we stayed in the Gracia...

    Great city and I'm so glad we stayed in the Gracia neighborhood which was less touristy, but also within walking distance to many iconic sites and neighborhoods. Food was incredible, and lots of good food near Generator. After 3 days I was ready to move on to a smaller beach town. Highlights were eating, walking around Gracia, Sagrada Familia, and Mercat de la Llibertat.

    Barcelona is one of the world's great cities.

    Barcelona is one of the world's great cities. If you go only for the Gaudi architecture, you will be richly rewarded, and there is far more than that. The city has an old European feel and is great for walking. Taxis are easy to hail and are reasonably priced. Food from bakeries, cafes, and restaurants is generally excellent, and inexpensive by the standards of the East Coast of the U.S. and most of Western Europe. Note: If you want to visit the interior of Sagrada Familia, order your tickets online at least two weeks in advance.

    The staffs are supper nice and helpful, we had a great experience there. Room services were available every day, toilet and bathroom were separated and clean. We didn't use breakfast there but overall everything was nice. The Internet connection was good also, but on the last day of our stay, we had some issues with the WIFI connection. We also extended our stay in Barcelona as the hotel was convenient and clean. The connection to the city center, Metro, restaurants, and shopping centers was great 👍

    Excellent position of the hotel for sightseeing, in a side street of La Rambla, a minute away from a subway station. Although the hotel is in the quarter Raval and there's street prostitution around the corner, you should not be afraid. Inside the hotel there's a green courtyard, perfect meeting point, when you travel with groups. And an oasis compared with the noisy streets outside. You will have problems to find a better hotel of this quality and this cheap prize in the city centre of Barcelona.

    My stay at Hotel Bypillow Mothern in Barcelona was amazing. The location was perfect, right in the city center, making it easy to walk to most of the major attractions.
