The breakfast was superb. Beautiful nutritious options served individually. The fruit smoothie was delicious. Also there were little sweet treats left out in the evening to have with a cuppa. Homemade treats. Big thanks to Amanda for her beautiful cooking. The bed was very comfortable. Service was terrific. Mark even helped carry our bags up and down the steps.

Such a wonderful guesthouse, I had a lovely few days away. From the delicious cakes and breakfasts to the really comfy bed, lovely toiletries and beautiful views, everything about my visit was perfect. I was so well looked after and was truly sad to have to leave. If you're looking for the perfect base to explore Windermere and the surrounding area this is it. Highly recommend and I'm looking forward to visiting again! Thank you for such a lovely visit. PS. If you're a solo female traveller the Waterwheel is perfect. I felt very safe :)

This is the perfect B&B. Our second stay here, got very luck with the parking, because of our arrival time 5:05pm and our departure time 9:45am, we were able to park right outside the front door for free. Usually free parking is available a few minutes away.

Fantastic location to explore the area, loved the house and my room had everything I needed, excellent to have reserved parking and the breakfast was awesome, best scrambled eggs I've ever had! In a nutshell I felt truly spoiled. If you go you must go to the cinema over the road at Fellini's which was a wonderful experience.
