This property is an extension of its host, Francesco. He's quick with an espresso to get your day going, keeps the place clean, the snacks and mini-fridge stocked, and lives very close by if there's anything you ever need! Wifi was good (it went through a period of being on and off, and Francesco just did a reset when asked and it was fine.) The room was a good size for one (it was a twin bed equipped room) and though it did not have air conditioning (and it was in the 30s c/ 90s f) the thick walls and room fan made it comfortable. If you get too hot, the bar across the street has A/C and cold beer! The shared bathrooms were never an issue (I think only two single rooms share a shower room and the toilet room), and during the entire week I only had to wait for the toilet to become free for 2-3 minutes one time. It was more like staying with a friend or relative than staying in a hotel. I would definitely stay here again. Bardello is a beautiful little town, Pizzeria Sokol is very close (use the alley next to the property) and the bar, though nothing fancy, was filled with friendly locals. The bus service is very convenient, with the depot and ticket office across the street, so getting around was easy. The alley next to the church is a secret you'll appreciate if you are using the bus...10/10 overall

Nicely decorated and cosy room. A comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and all the essentials for breakfast. Everything was super clean. The local and homemade sweets available upon arrival were a delightful touch!

We liked our stay a lot. Very big and bright room with the bar downstairs ). Super friendly host which helps you with coffee, breakfast or bier. The lake beach is nearby so you could enjoy the swim!

everything was perfect for a first stop in northern Italy after our long trip from Belgium. the place was great, 20 m for a very good restaurant, 40 m for a gelateria and 100 m for a drink on the lac majeur ! Giuli was so nice to us ! Definitely a great place

The house is located in a small village in the forest 30 minutes from Lake Maggiore. It offers comfortable rooms and a restaurant with fine wines and delicious food. In the morning we had a coffee machine with capsules. The hosts were helpful and friendly. The house has parking in the backyard. I recommend.

Is a special accommodation with a rural feel, located in an old location, built in the 1300s. During our beautiful stay, we learned that initially the building served as a stable for animals and a barn, being later transformed into a living space and guesthouse. Everything was superlative, clean, comfortable, bohemian. If we are in the area again, we will definitely come back here.
