Beautiful and historic townhouse. The location was brilliant walkable to Pontocho and main Kyoto shopping street. Most importantly, it was by the river and absolutely gorgeous views during the Sakura Bloom!

Linda and her husband were incredible hosts, kind and so helpful. They gave us many advices, were accomodating and kept surprising us with their kindness. Linda's husband is a hobby photographer and gave us some of his beautiful pictures and a tour of the area, showing us hidden gems and some information about the area, it was a lovely last evening. We'll never forget these hosts and only regret to not have been able to thank them properly. As for the property, there is everything one needs to feel comfortable and at home, it's tidy, clean, smells good, the amenities are modern, there's space, a balcony, a washing machine etc. And it's also very well located, next to beautiful and famous temples and areas.

Location is perfect (walking distance to bus stops, tourist spots) and our room was clean and cozy with daily housekeeping. Hiro was exceptionally helpful and attentive to our needs despite our late-night check in - he even woke up to send us off early in the morning! Would 100% recommend this place :)

The host is really friendly and kind, and she also brought us some croissants for the morning breakfast. The position is perfect to explore Gion. The room was spacious and clean, fully in Japanese style. Can only recommend it!
