Our return to Avalon Village was just as remarkable as the first time! The amazing pool provided hours of relaxation and fun, and the seafood at the restaurant remained consistently outstanding. Its unbeatable location, right on the best spot in town, made every moment memorable. However, what continues to impress us the most is the incredible staff. Their dedication and warm service truly elevate the experience. Avalon Village is a must-visit for those seeking a perfect getaway!

Very nice place with a lovely couple. We felt very welcome and also very comfortable. The room is spacious and very clean. Nice AC and a big bed. We were welcomed with a drink fresh from the fruit from the garden. The garden is calm and beautiful. Good and various breakfast. They drove us to the airport what was very relaxt. Thank you so much for the stay. If we go back to Sri Lanka we will definitely stay here again!

Nishanti and Wasanthe went far and beyond and did everything to make us feel cozy and at home. They made us breakfast packs when we needed to leave very early, and their breakfast was excellent! The place was very clean and with good smell. Thank you Nishanti and Wasanthe!

Bellissima l'idea di addobbare tutto con i fiori come quelli dell'ibisco, compresi i piatti della colazione e della cena! Lo staff è stato molto cordiale e attento a non farti mancare nulla, la camera molto spaziosa e ben arredata, non mancava nulla. La posizione super vicino alla spiaggia e con una bella piscina esterna. Inoltre il cibo era squisito!

Amazing ambiance, it’s like coming into an oasis with all the plants and interiors. The couple who owe the place are very friendly and the food was amazing, both breakfast and dinner in their restaurant was delicious. We highly recommend this place.

Camera bella, grande e pulita con anche frigo, teiera e doccia chiusa. Famiglia gentilissima, hanno coccolato e intrattenuto la nostra bimba di 1 anno e mezzo. Piscina stupenda, ambiente grande e molto curato. Possibilità di cenare in struttura con cibo molto buono cucinato dalla moglie. La mattina si può fare un giro sul fiume all’alba con colazione e bird watching, molto tranquillo e rilassante

I liked absolutely everything at Shangri-Lanka Villa! Beautiful, lush garden with many different plants. Open design of the restaurant made me feel close to nature. I could see many colorful birds, butterflies and even monkeys nearby. Shangri-Lanka is peaceful and quiet with tasteful Sri-lankan-style decorations everywhere. Service was very kind and friendly. Staff (as well as the owner Karen who was around at the same time as us) created a warm and welcoming atmoshere. Happy to have a chat, share personal experiences and give travel advice. The restaurant offers many choices and I really enjoyed my meals. The dishes were freshly prepared and very tasteful. The chef has obviously made an effort to create satisfying meals. Shangri-Lanka also offers massage treatments in a cozy cabana which I appreciated a lot. I had a relaxing full-body oil massage to the jungle sounds of birds, geckos and monkeys. I enjoyed every moment at Shangri-Lanka Villa and I'd be happy to return some day.
