It's not like staying at a hotel, instead it is like being invited to stay at a lived in family's home. For me it felt like being welcomed to become part of an extended family. Perfect for the sole traveler,go off during the day to do your own thing, but when you returned home there was companionship, good times and good laughs. For those backpacking and looking at hostels this is perfectly priced for you and provides you with the privacy of your own bedroom to unwind. Part of travelling is to experience foreign culture. Staying at Casa Martha immersed me in Latino culture in a way you won't experience in a hostel with like minded people, or by staying at a hotel where you observe another's culture at arms length. I don't speak Spanish, but that never felt like a problem, Google translate, some hand gestures whilst conversing got me by here. They speak some English and some guests spoke both English and Spanish fluently and were happy to translate during drinking and games. There was a lot of singing also. A short taxi ride from the airport. The train to the city isn't that far of a walk. There is a bus route that stops along the main road. Food options everywhere from McDonald's and KFC, to restaurants and street food vendors. I did a lot of walking (playing Pokemon Go) and not once did I feel unsafe walking through the suburb at night.

This place is so comfortable, clean and quiet, perfect to rest. Conveniently located close to the airport, and an unbeatable price. Good coffee machine, super comfortable beds, everything you need. The host is very kind and helpful. Highly recommended place 👍😁

small but very nice and with everything you need. just 5 minutes walk from terminal 2 and close to the metro, with which you can quickly reach the city center. quiet and safe area

The place was very clean and we'll managed. The bed was really comfortable, and the shower has super hot water. The owner is great. She helped me organize my trip and find everything I needed for my stay in Mexico. The neighborhood is safe and walkable. There are markets and restaurants everywhere, and it's really close to the airport. Good location, good people, good value. It checked all the boxes.

Perfect location, 2 min walking from the airport (gate 10, terminal 1). The host picked us up there and was very helpful. Good choice if you need to take a rest between your flights and don’t want to wait at the airport. Good válce for money.

Small-ish, family-owned hotel with a shared kitchen very close to the airport (2 miles/3km tops). The owner and staff are all very attentive and take good care of both the guests and their hotel. Fabian always makes sure everything keeps running smoothly and always listens when you point out an issue. A lamp goes out - he makes sure to replace it right away. Not enough space for the perishable goods the guests buy? He buys a 2nd fridge, lol. Señora Rosa is a wonderful lady as well, and the rooms pretty much feel totally renewed each time she goes through them, it's really great. The showers work just fine, and I never had issues with the toilet - just don't even think of throwing anything in there, in which case karmic justice will prevail. The surrounding neighbourhood is pretty nice - not too bougie, but reasonably pretty still, with a couple park zones and small gardens and such. It's located right by the highway but so long as you don't sleep with your windows open, the noise shouldn't be able to bother you. Makes accessing the hotel more convenient if nothing else. The shared kitchen is excellent if you prefer cooking your own meals as opposed to eating out. However there is a nice burger place nearby in case you get the munchies and can't be bothered to cook. The kitchen is well-stocked with implements (pots, pans etc), two fridges and a microwave. Has a washing machine that guests can use. The rooms are cleaned on a weekly basis, and the shared spaces are cleaned every day, so everything is always neat and tidy - so long as you don't go out of your way to make the staff miserable, which I hope you won't, lol, they're all wonderful people. Reasonable amount of convenience/grocery stores nearby, as well as a pharmacy right next door. There's also a market where you can buy fresh fruit, vegetables and meat nearby, look for Mercado Aquiles Serdán on Google Maps.

I had an amazing time in this hostel with my sister, We went to Mexico for the RBD concert and it was a great choice, I will definitely come back to this hostel next time we come to Mexico 🇲🇽✨
