Breakfast was not included in the cost (this was known to us in advance) but a 10 minutes walk into another apartment allowed it. Breakfast was excellent (from household chicken eggs) with many choices. Kitchen was shared but it was known before, there was ample room in the fridges and the kitchen was OK and well furnished. The location of the apartment is excellent if you want to go hiking into the Slovakian Paradise, available on foot simply. This is an excellent value for the money. Pension is in a very friendly environment, a typical Slovakian village with some good restaurants.

This is a fantastic place. It is close to the entrence to the national park. The place is clean and comfy. The lady who runs the place is amazingly caring and resourceful about the place, giving us many tips. She is a great cook as well. So do not hesitate and have your dinner in Siesta.

What makes this stay remarkable is the owners genuine care and attention to guests. His always gracious manner and helpful attitude is amazing, and makes it feel like visiting family without the airing of grievances 😁 1. Location- Tuly hike in and out. The beautiful Slovak Paradise trail system begins at the door of the property. The owner is available to sure the best routes and most beautiful places. No need for wonky trail apps. 2. The spa. The Jack of all trades owner has spent an incredible amount of effort to make the spa and jacuzzi area on the property absolutely amazing. We were amazed when we walked in, honestly superior to many five star resorts we have stayed. 3. The restaurant- While the hours are a little short during the shoulder months, either the chef or, yes, the owner prepares wonderful authentic Slovak food at a great price. The deer tenderloin special was incredible. We will definitely return to this property again. Many thanks for the wonderful stay

A family-run house with a complete farm in the territory, with horses, rabbits, goats, hens, cats and a dog. Heaven with children, sure they never get bored. Simple, but comfortable and clean interior. We liked, that there are several bathrooms (cabins), so ideal for a bigger group. All windows have nets against flies and mosquitoes - very helpful. Very friendly and helpful hosts. You can ask for fresh goat milk or horse riding. Walking distance to the entrance of Prielom Hornádu.

Hrabusice is the best base for a visit to Slovensky Raj and exploring the Spis region. Some hiking trails (Hornad canyon, Sucha Bela) are walking distance from the village, for the rest you would need a car as public transport is limited outside summer holidays. Due to some mix up with the booking Peter (the host) arranged for us to stay in an apartment in another part of the village. It was an upgrade as we had a whole very comfy apartment with kitchen to ourselves. Communication with Peter was fast and reliable and the proposed solution more than satisfactory! Tip for visitors: since April 2024 local tourist tax (2 euros per person per night) allows free entry to paid sites in Slovensky Raj and includes insurance for mountain rescue costs.

There is a shower in the room, beds are very comfortable and the place is super clean! Also very quiet, so you can rest after your hikes.
