Our bedrooms consist of cosy snugs, luxury rooms, a luxury suite and a family room with modern interior styling that is sympathetic to our Georgian building. Amenities in our bedrooms include flat screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities, superfast WIFI and Bramley products.
Gorgeous location in a quiet Suffolk Village. The building was beautiful and ideally decorated. We didn't use the restaurant but the menu looked good (we were meeting friends elsewhere). Bar was well stocked and staff very helpful. We upgraded and had a beautiful and large room. Bathroom was a little less decadent than the rest of the hotel but clean enough. We used our own toiletries but good to see environmental impact was thought about. TV was odd and difficult to use - usual channels didn't seem available and if we tried Netflix or any of the other apps, none of them worked, so we turned it off and just had music playing on our phones. Comfy bed, and tea/coffee available, so all good. We loved it.
*worth mentioning that had we paid full price I would have felt it a little expensive, but I had a Booking.com credit and so actually it felt like a bargain.

Great location, clean and great hosts!
Great location, loads of history and great hosts
easy to find on main road but quiet and in a lovely setting. Room was clean and well equipped had obviously been recently refurbished. Continental breakfast was basic but we upgraded at little extra cost and had lovely scrambled eggs on toast. Vanessa , our hostess, was charming. I can recommend the Shoulder of Mutton in nearby Assington Village for a lovely evening meal.
Great location, lovely site, and some beautiful sunsets in this quiet corner of Suffolk. Steve and Carol are happy and helpful hosts, on hand if needed, and Clare is a charming village with just about everything you need. The pods are clean and cosy, and the ducks and geese wandering about made the trip.
Great location in this lovely village. Easy parking. Charming, helpful staff. Rooms vary with larger rooms at the front of the hotel and some smaller but quieter at the back.
