Clean and spacious rooms, amazing home-cooked breakfast, quiet area and a short walk from town, and the most important thing was Stacey, the owner - friendly as can be, helped us with some issues we had in our trip, was lovely and made us feel home away for home - everything you want while traveling!

Karrawa Guest House is set in the town of Kirkwall, less than 1 mile from the town centre and within 2.5 miles of the airport and ferry terminal. Karrawa is a lovely home with a very comfortable guest room and an exquisitely appointed en-suite. Everything was so clean and Fyona was quite friendly snd welcoming. Our cooked breakfast was delicious. I wish we had been able to spend more time there.

There was a lounge with games, sofas, and a large TV, but we were too busy to take advantage of it. Eric, the host, was very friendly and accommodating. He got us everything we asked for. The water was very soft, so only a small amount of soap or shampoo was needed. It didn't feel like we were intruding in someone's home. It felt more like a mini hotel with a fair amount of privacy for coming and going. Also, we had a ground floor room where we didn't have to drag suitcases up, which is hard being older adults. The stay was very enjoyable.

Our room was immaculate, parking was very convenient, tea and snacks the best, breakfast for the first time we could select the night before off a menu and was delicious!

Waterfront House encontra-se em Finstown, a 5,7 km de Maeshowe e a 7,3 km de Pedras de Stenness. Everything was very clean, newly renovated and very nicely equipped. Furniture is very comfortable and there were even snacks and drinks available. Host was very friendly and responsive. Definitely worth the money, it's really nice getaway place with beautiful view.
