We held some strange hours because we were trying to bird around the area and Ida barely batted an eye with 4am breakfast requests. She helped us with luggage, with bus transport, with moped - everything. The accommodations are very cosy but Ida puts everything over the top.

American citizen here who can enthusiastically endorse this not just as a great place to stay, but one of the most unique experiences to be had in Bali. The two things that most stand out are the incredible kindness/giving nature of the owner, as well as the location near Munduk. I also felt like I got a more deep cultural immersion into Balinese way of life by staying here. Wayan really goes out of his way for villa guests. As there are only two rooms, he essentially gives you undivided attention during your stay. As others mention, usually he will offer you transportation around town in his van since it is a bit more rural. He wanted to take us to a few waterfalls, but when we told him we also wanted to see Ulu Danu Beratan temple, he was extremely kind to drive us there and wait for us in the parking lot while we saw the temple before taking us to the waterfalls for a great hike (the waterfalls he took us to are undoubtely some of the best in Bali, as they still have decent enough infrastructure without being as crowded as some of the other waterfalls). He took us to a hot springs after the waterfall. This was a 6-7 hour day almost, and he doesn't ask for any sort of payment for this; we still tipped him a monetary amount that a full-day driver would usually charge. I can't officially promise on his behalf what he will offer, but based on other guests' reviews and my experience, it seems he would offer you help with transportation, whether for a short part of the day or even the full day! I genuinely think the location on the villa is one of its highlights. If you want to go to partying in clubs/bars, you can still do so, it's just a 20-25 in drive to Munduk city. If you don't care about being in the heart of a city, it is so refreshing being in this villa b/c it is perched next to a rice terrace, and from the comfort of the swimming pool, you can enjoy the incredible beauty of the Munduk countryside with rice terraces.

Beautiful accommodation, wonderful clean room, garden and pool. A very nice and helpful owner who will help you organize trips to see dolphins or others. Great breakfast! Definitely recommend and will be back!

Really, this is the best hotel which I ever have been in Bali, traveling around all the island! Staff is friendly and helpful, with any little request. Massage is also very, very good and the girl, which makes it, graduated the special courses, so you get the combination of Balinese and Tai techniques. Special respect for cousin - that is above all the expectations. Hope to return back!

Το Sugi Gede Homestay είναι σε Singaraja, σε απόσταση 36 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Kintamani και προσφέρει καταλύματα με κήπο, δωρεάν ιδιωτικό χώρο στάθμευσης και βεράντα. excellent view of the mountains & jungle. the staff were all amazing. would definitely love to come back to this place.

Of course it’s very simple and I am sure that there are other beautiful places here for higher budgets but Bali Bening has all you need: a spacious and bright room with a comfortable bed, a beautiful terrace for breakfast and dinner, excellent food and a very good choice, also very good wine! Made, the owner is very nice, he let us try homemade strawberry wine :) We rented a scooter to go a bit further on one day, and one day we just left on foot to do the munduk waterfall trek.

Το Coco Garden Pool Villas βρίσκεται στο χωριό Air Sanih, 48χλμ. μακριά από το Ubud και προσφέρει κλιματιζόμενα δωμάτια με δωρεάν Wi-Fi σε όλους τους χώρους. We had a private villa that allowed us a lot of privacy to ourselves as well as a quietude that we were seeking. The Staff were very respectful of our wishes and were very cooperative, helpful, and accommodating.

Το Adila Warung and Homestay προσφέρει καταλύματα στο Munduk, σε απόσταση 4,6χλμ. από τους Καταρράκτες του Munduk. I do not let reviews often, but this place is such an hidden gem I have to! Thanks again to the owner and staff who are so sweet 😁
