Very clean with all necessary facilities in the kitchen. Just outside of the guesthouse, there’s a free shuttle bus to ski resort in the morning. Even 20-30 mins walk to Hakuba train station and supermarket, during winter, it’s a little bit far, however it is still within walking distance. Affordable and comfortable place to stay for solo traveler.

Location of the lodge was great, easy walking distance into Echoland and a snow shuttle bus stop not far from the front door. The lodge is well appointed and the family room is very accommodating. Breakfast was great served in the lounge area which was available for use at any time with complimentary tea/coffee. The owner was so helpful with suggestions and tips prior to our arrival and the staff looking after the lodge were so friendly, very helpful and extremely customer focused. I would highly recommend the lodge.

Pension Ringo-no Ki is a completely non-smoking property located in Hakuba. Free WiFi access is available in this lodge. There is a hairdryer, free toiletries and slippers on site. The breakfast that was provided was really good and different variety was provided each morning. The fresh baked break with homemade jam was amazing! The property had two (2) onses that were available to use.

They have outdoor and indoor onsen. We have a nice time. The owner are very welcome and helpful he pick up us and bring us to snow mountain. Very nice guy.

We were thoroughly impressed by the owner's homemade breakfast. For the price, the attention to detail and quality of ingredients truly stood out. Each morning we had different meals made from local and seasonal ingredients. The small dining room was beautiful. The owner is very friendly and seems to have much experience traveling around the world. There are two lovely hot spring baths. Enjoyed the baths so much.

Situated just a 5-minute walk from Hakuba Goryu Ski Resort, Pension Bonnard is a cute European-style accommodation with cosy guest rooms. It features a garden that changes its colour each season. Pension Bonnard is amazing value for money. On a five week ski trip in which I stayed at 5 pensions - all of which were very good value - Bonnard was by some margin the best value for money. The host Take and his wife were very helpful and seemed to anticipate my needs even before I asked for help. For example, Take picked me up from the bus at about 10pm and without my asking drove home via a convenience store so that I could buy food etc. Take and his wife would inform me which nights were likely to be busy at restaurants and book a table for me. There are several good restaurants nearby, surprisingly not all were listed on Google maps so it pays to ask the hosts. The breakfasts were the best - again by a considerable margin - of the five pensions at which I stayed. Take cooked excellent five course Japanese meals on the weekend at a cost of about 3300 Yen per person. My room was comfortable with its own heater and bathroom. The building is old with mainly wooden floors but it is exceptionally clean as well as warm. There is an excellent Japanese bath downstairs that guests can use. It has two showers and the bath is about 2 meters square so there is room for several people. The bathroom door locks so couples can comfortably bath together. The water is continuously circulated and refreshed in the bath so besides being fun it is safe and clean. It is a short walk to the lifts and gondola at Goryu

Ideally located just a 3-minute walk from Hakuba Happo One Ski Resort, Hakuba Glad Inn Ebisuya boasts hot spring baths and traditional Japanese-style guest rooms. Spotlessly clean. Really friendly and welcoming people. Traditional stay and experience. Highly recommended. Would definitely stay again. Thank you very much.
