Situated 80 metres from Arugam Bay Beach, Hakuna Matata Arugambay offers accommodation with a patio, as well as an open-air bath and a garden. The property is 2 mins walk from the beach but at the quieter end of the main street. There are lots of great cafes and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The place is a very chilled family atmosphere run by the host, Billie, who was a top guy and looks out for his guests. He'll sort out anything you need and runs safaris every other day. Unfortunately we didn't get to do one with him which was a regret.

The owner made this stay unforgettable! We were welcomed with a Pineapple Lassie, they did our laundry, there’s free water and they made us a very very delicious rotti pizza! The rooms were the best on our Sri Lanka trip and really worth the price. We would love to come again and recommend it to everyone!

Boasting garden views, Starfish Cabbana offers accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 300 metres from Arugam Bay Beach. AMAZING, peaceful and just a place where you want to be, unless the only thing that you want to experience is party, this place is meant to relax, enjoy, surf... while you won't be all surrounded by party animals, not here, thanks god. Loved Starfish Cabbana and will eventually get back. Beatiful place and people. 10/10
