3 ALOES GUESTHOUSE is a recently renovated apartment in Uis, where guests can make the most of its garden and shared lounge. Everything was just perfect. The owner Mike was so helpful and kind. He even got us food from the CactusCafé when we were stuck on desert roads and he then waited for us till we arrived late at night to have the check in and dinner. The house is stunning, furniture is chosen carefully and with love. You feel like home in the Guesthouse immediately. Great breakfast, very warm staff. We enjoyed our time very much and we 100% recommend going there.

Everything is on point. Staff are very very polite and helpful. Very close to the water front 3 minutes walk. A lot of bars and good restaurants.Will definitely recommend. The Rez Guesthouse, a property with a bar, is situated in Walvis Bay, 38 km from Atlanta cinema, 38 km from Otavi-Bahnhof, as well as 41 km from Martin Luther Steam Locomotive. As my wife and I were waiting to clear immigration in Walvis Bay, Namibia, to get off a cruise ship as we were both very sick and needed medical attention, we booked The Rez Guesthouse for two nights. They accommodated our early check in request, and as we were checking in a few short hours later, Malani, the proprietor, looked at my wife and said: You are not looking well. Do you want to see a doctor? - YESSSS! Within an hour, Malani arranged free transportation to see a private doctor. After examination, the doctor said my wife had to go to the hospital immediately as her lung capacity was dangerously low. Within an hour, my wife was admitted to the only private hospital in Walvis Bay. What does it all have to do with The Rez? A LOT! Malani went above and beyond what was expected of her. When you go on vacation, you don’t expect anything bad to happen. As we learned, it might. Malani literally saved us. And The Rez? Did I mention the nice location in an upscale residential neighborhood only 500 meters away from the waterfront, nice tasteful décor, a cozy courtyard, spacious rooms, upgraded bathrooms, great breakfast (try Ellen’s omelet), and referrals to carefully selected local vendors.

Christa and her small team were wonderful hosts. this small guest farm is beautifully designed in a lovely tranquil location. ideal for a 1-2 night stopover on the way to the bigger game reserves further North. Food was also delicious.

Located in the centre of Old Swakopmund, The Secret Garden Guesthouse offers simply decorated rooms overlooking the garden. It features a sun terrace. A cozy nook in Swakop. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful. Mind that the room was quite cold and damp even with the heater, so towels don’t really get dry, but overall we enjoyed our stay. The atmosphere at breakfast is peaceful, and the food and service was great. On our last day they prepared a breakfast bag to go, since our departure was early morning, - very nice. Big thanks to the whole team!
