House was immaculate, perfect shoe & boot storage as soon as you walk in door, great idea, save the lovely carpets, lounge cupboard to hang coats etc, kitchen perfect with huge fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer, all the appliances & dishes etc needed, ironing board, Bedrooms great, extremely comfy beds, crisp fresh bedding & warm throws, bath an absolute bonus, lovely decked area out back, views perfect, Good workout with the steps down to property but understandably as all houses built on the hillside, Great little cut through down to the main road, literally 4 min walk to train station Connection in & out of Edinburgh great for our whole stay, good array of shops & takeaways etc 5/10 min drive away. Excellent Communication from initial booking right through to arrival great, we had issue with heating, email & Facebook message responded to within minutes ! Highly recommend this property

Really nice little cottage in converted steading. Nice furniture/ furnishings and comfortable beds. Good location for access to Dunfermline/ Limekilns etc.

Probably best option for family around Edinburgh if you have rental car and do not fancy hotel prices in Edinburgh. Really nice location, quiet. Around 30-minute drive to Edinburgh city centre. At the same time in Dunfermline there is historical Abbey just bit over 2 miles away and you could easily take the walk. The house itself has everything you need even for longer stay 🙂 3 bedrooms, comfortable beds, wifi, tv (also nerflix). Kitchen was equipped well and all utensils needed to make homemade pasta bolognese were available. Backyard was nice. Also the communication with host was good!

The location of the cottage was perfect- beautiful scenery and very peaceful yet within easy driving distance to other areas/towns etc. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and was spacious and comfortable.
