Great position for exploring Umbria. Extremely quiet and relaxing location in small hilltop village with shop and pharmacy. . Well-maintained private pool with great views. Lovingly restored period house with all mod cons. Good wifi, 2 full bathrooms with modern fittings. Everything is supplied and everything works. 3 flat screens with Chromecast to screen your phone apps. Lovely BBQ area. Friendly and helpful owner is always there when you need him. The best house we have rented in Italy. Highly recommended!

The place is a very central place in location Oro in Tavernelle where there are all important facilities like a good bakery, patisserie and restaurant and mini markets. It is also very near to lake Trasimeno and many beautiful Umbrian and south of Tuscany towns and villages (borghi) all reachable within an hour's drive. Perugia and Assisi are also reachable by car. The hosts Michela and Paulo live nearby and were also available to help us with any required facilities during our stay. They even gave us daily recommendations for places to visit so that we could enjoy the best of Umbria and south Tuscany. This family is a true ambassador for the Umbria region as they love the countryside and the mountains of Umbria. The family house is a small farmhouse which has all one requires to stay comfortable during a stay even for a good number of nights including air-conditioning and a fire-place for winter. I would recommend this lodging for short or long stays and for families and couples. The hosts will make sure that you make your most from this stay.

Great outdoor space including pool. Comfy beds, good indoor and outdoor showers. nothing around if you want to eat out but we didn’t. Good supermarkets (1 is walkable) others 5 mins in car.

We enjoyed our stay in the Villa Rey very much. Everything was perfect - starting from the cleanliness of the rooms and the whole house to the pool. Moreover, the food was delicious. We really recommend dinners at the place, top quality dishes made from local organic ingredients. Special thanks to the chef who made vegetarian dishes for our daughter:) The highlight of the place are the people - both the service staff and the lovely owners. Everyone was kind-hearted and friendly. The owners, Silvia and Jurgen, made sure we had something fun to do everyday and recommended us the best places to see and eat out. As the villa is located a bit off the beaten track, the surroundings are picturesque and quiet which made us feel relaxed. The atmosphere of this place is what makes it so special. We genuinely hope to be back.

The House is fully and warmly furnished and you feel at home immediately. The host Elisa is most friendly and helpful, if you need any tips she is happy to help. She welcomes you with vegetables grown in her own garden. From the location you can easily travel to Perugia, Città della Pieve or Assisi. To Panicale it's only a short walk and hiking paths are not far. To stay for some time in an olive grove is just wonderful. We thank Elisa that we could stay in her nice holiday house.
