What an amazing place for families: so many activities. Andrejs gave us lots of recommendations, including kayaking through the national park and my kids (aged 9 and 12) especially loved the local Tarzans Amusement park and Cesis castle. The house is located next to a small zoo and it was really fun to walk through the park after hours. Andrejs also gave us the name of a bike rental company but we ran out to time. The apartment is very spacious and we loved the sauna and then (a few brave souls) jumped into the pond afterwards. The house is very peaceful (forest all around) and Andrejs is the perfect host; exceptionally accommodating of our numerous requests and questions! We'd had a very busy vacation so it was nice to slow down for a few days and relax; We'd love to visit again.

This accommodation is located in a beautiful, quiet area next to a river. Clean and elegant. You can bath in the hot tub or grill meat in the garden. We played darts. The owner brought a fresh and hearty breakfast in the morning. Wonderfully romantic place, I was sorry we only stayed one night.

This is not one of several cabins on a property for tourists. This is a single, peaceful, charming log house on a private and spacious piece of land with your own water for swimming and generous gazebo which we enjoyed during a wonderful downpour. Our dog has not been this happy for ages, always a good sign!
