Valmont estate is picture perfect with the most beautiful horses adding to the tranquility. We stayed in the Dam Cottage which was very cutely decorated and snug. Its centrally located and very close to Natures Valley with a beautiful unspoilt beach and hike, and just off the N2 so a short drive into Plett for a meal or tsitsikamma for some adventure sports. This is the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate. The staff are lovely and super helpful.

The attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional, and the surroundings and view are breathtaking. If you're looking for a charming and picturesque retreat with a personal touch, this is the place for you. We can't wait to come back again! Bonus for us: they have the best dogs ever! They came by to say hello and made our stay even more enjoyable :)

The guest house was absolutely beautiful, the farm property equally so. There was a lovely garden surrounding the house, to which you had a great view from the terrace. The bedroom was super nice, clean, and bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was beautiful and clean. There was also a kitchen with everything you might need, and we were provided with the basics for coffee and tea making and even some biscuits. The hostess was just so lovely and went out of her way to accommodate us making sure we had everything we needed.
