Well located, perfectly set out, great facilities including TV streaming and fast wi fi -- essential for the younger members of our party. Great touches too -- chilled water, biscuits, coffee and tea for our arrival, loads of local information. Immaculate too. Log burner wasn't necessary for our summer stay but would be great in cooler weather. Host was really helpful prior to our arrival.

The place is beautiful and peaceful, near the beautiful abbeys of the Scottish borders. Ros, the owner, is very kind: she offered us the eggs of her hens and gave us plenty of tips. The cottage is wonderful, big and with plenty of facilities, with a big garden. The family has a horse, a sheep, two dogs and a cat and the children really appreciated this. We very extremely happy with our stay!

A recently renovated holiday home set in Kelso, The Burrow features a garden. This holiday home offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. The cottage was cosy and everything I could want for a solo stay with work. The bathroom is fabulous, the cottage roasting and the bed very very comfortable. Close enough for travelling each day to Kelso for work.
