I will highly recommend the lions house to anybody , stayed 4 weeks location for me was fantastic ,clean ,accommodating will recommend to my friends and family anytime, the manager of the rental property will get in contact with me to make sure if I needed any assistance with my stay. definitely when I return to kalymnos I will return to the lions house .

Myrties, Melisahas and Massouri within easy walking distance and 2 restaurants right at the bottom of the hill. •Beautiful house equipped with everything we could possibly need. Fantastic outside space with great views. •Brilliant communication with host and housekeeper via whatsapp and in person. • Welcome gifts an unexpected bonus and thoroughly appreciated! As per previous reviews, it is worth making a note about the local feral cats (not uncommon on Greek islands) - they are tame and friendly and while not fed near the house they do visit. This was a pleasure for us as it would be for most cat likers/lovers I think. They will only intrude on your stay as much as they are allowed to!

We had a wonderful stay at Mandarinies in Kalymnos with my family. The owners met us at a very ungodly hour to greet us (early am when the ship arrived) and were very helpful throughout our 10-day long stay. The house was spacious, well equipped, tastefully decorated, very clean and really quiet. The fridge and kitchen were stocked with essentials for a good breakfast and a drink, which we really appreciated having arrived too late for any kind of shopping. The built-in bath in the room was great (there was also a shower in the bathroom). The house is located next to an orchard, so our child had ample space to play and explore safely, as well as play with the house dog, cats, chickens and baby chicks. The owners even let us checkout late, as we had a late evening trip back to Athens, which was a bonus. I thoroughly recommend it for both families and couples. Thank you Irene!
