I stayed at the luxury holiday inn last time I was in Lancaster. Ha well I'd rather have friendly people who take time for you any day of the week. I never really went downstairs because of disability so I didn't meet everyone but they allowed my partner to bring me up breakfast. There were lots of free treats in the hallway, fruit biscuits, extra tea, coffee etc . Stay again any time

There was a wide choice of breakfast food, both cooked & continental. It was all of a very high standard. We travel from Scotland to the South fairly frequently & find the Holiday inns superior in their standards not just in food but also accommodation.

Room was very spacious and a typical IHG hotel room. The beds were comfortable. Room and bathroom was clean. The stay was a stop-over from long drive back from Scotland to Bristol.

There is a short mature waitress with a ponytail who seems always on duty. She is extremely professional and always pleasant. A great asset to your hotel. I always saw her at breakfast or in the bar. Reception were delightful as were the rest of the team. Management look very untidy and should look smarter in the evenings. Maybe wear a jacket as in years gone by with Holiday Inns. I explained I had mobility problems and my room was perfect being next to the lift (2008) then my car by the front door. Wonderful.

It's a Holiday Inn. It does what a Holiday Inn does. Practical, clean, comfy and very boring. But it does the job. Brought in a pizza and a bottle of red and had a night of TV. It did the job. Does it fill my heart with happiness? No. But then I doubt they aspire to that!

We use the Holiday Inn Lancaster as a stopover on journeys to and from Scotland. It is a great place to stay with a dog as there is a lit, paved 15 km track right behind the hotel. The buffet breakfasts cant be faulted and there is always parking available.

The holiday inn is my go to for good night's sleep and chance to unwind when visiting relatives in Lancashire. The rooms are spacious with good heating, tv, tea coffee kettle. The staff are cheery and welcoming. Breakfast is a large buffet with good selection of cooked and cold food + cereals. I need gluten free food and there was ample bread, cereals and hot food to have. Love the pool, sauna, steam room and gym!

The facilities including the Health Club and the Restaurant were all pretty good for a Holiday Inn, the room was fairly generous in size and was in good order and the staff and general arrangements were very satisfactory
