From the moment we arrived Fatima and her family made us completely welcome. The room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated with panoramic lagoon views. And to top it all off breakfast was a delight which kept us going till mid afternoon so we could fully explore the peninsula!

Everything! I arrived in Darkhla late at night, on my own and felt a little disorientated. Francoise just made me feel at home right away and made everything so simple. I have now stayed in many hotels in Darkhla and Dar Tawarta really sets itself apart by not trying to process the mass and instead focuses on quality and the individual. The bedrooms and bathrooms are incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. There is a garden where all the fruit and vegetables are grown. The staff are lovely and well cared for which creates an overall appeasing/family atmosphere throughout. The food is absolutely delicious and is a great introduction to great Moroccan cuisine. The main point here is that this is a little hidden gem that truly differentiates itself from all the big business resorts. It is peaceful, community orientated and well located which means you can still do all the activities that you would normally do during the day (worth renting a car). Francoise can definitely be proud of what she has created!
