It's a very quite and laidback place. You'll find time to rest and recover but also to do plenty of sports or to work. If you are into kitesurfing, it's the place to be! Plenty of sites and schools around. Brees itself offers a very nice pool to so proper swimming and and outdoor gym with plenty of weights. There is a working area, which has dedicated WiFi just for this purpose. The entire personel is wonderful and friendly. The food, breakfast as well as lunch and dinner (both offered for 40k per person each, i.e., ~9€), is just delicous and always freshly made. The rooms offer a great view and the bed is very comfy. Transportation is also offered for a reasonable price (or you take one of the busses nearby to Barranquilla or Cartagena).

The family are so wonderful and helpful, we only stayed a night but it was the perfect stay for our short time in Barranquilla

Uns hat der freundliche Empfang und die Lage sehr gut gefallen. Außerdem wohnt dort ein sehr sehr niedlicher kleiner puscheliger Hund :) Ebenfalls war der Preis unschlagbar. Unser Zimmer hatte eine schöne Größe.

Die Unterkunft La Casona 42 in Barranquilla, die weniger als 1 km von Museum of the Atlantic und 2,4 km von Montoya Station entfernt gelegen ist, bietet einen Garten. First of all - I will give this place a ten although it’s far away from it, but… The place is located in the sketchy neighborhood and we weren’t really feeling safe to leave the place at night. Rooms look like they are advertised and are clean. The absolute highlight of the place is the lady who owns it - she is a soul! She was very helpful, kind and gave us all the information she needed. She also made us feel like home. Since we visited city for the carnival she allowed us to store the baggage there after check out too. Overall, I wouldn’t pay the amount of money for this accommodation under any other circumstances but these including the festival and increase of prices in that area in general. Like I said - you would be feeling more than welcome and safe inside of the property, but not outside of it. Thanks again to the lovely lady, she made our stay there worth of it!
