A beautiful 110 year old house with lovely rooms. The hosts could not have been more friendly, jind or helpful. They even stored our beer in their fridge and provided glasses. The breakfast was excellent. We ate evening meal three nights out of fours as the food and service was so good

Situated in Nanu Oya and only 7.8 km from Gregory Lake, Ansi Villa features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The family that owns this accommodation are so kind and accommodating. They stayed up to get us from our train and we were welcomed with tea and cookies. We had the best meals we have had in Sri Lanka here, both breakfasts and dinner. The rooms are in their house, but you still feel like you have your own space. They directed us to a nearby waterfall and tea plantation and also graciously allowed us to stay a bit to wait for our departure train.

Situated just 3.1 km from Gregory Lake, Vibe way (Hostel & Market farm) provides accommodation in Nuwara Eliya with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a shared kitchen. First of all, I love the lobby and outside of the hostel. Though it's a small hostel, the garden has a wonderful green plantation including cabbage, broccoli and many more plants. They have outside benches, hammock and chairs where you can enjoy the day sunlight comfortably. The owner said that they started the hostel very recently, 3 months ago and they are slowly expanding the property. Currently, they have one dorm with 6 beds, a shared bathroom for the other two rooms as well. They have a kitchen, refrigerator, hot water shower and all the necessary facilities. Within a 10min walk, you can go to the Town centre, Parks and by bus or tuk you can easily visit lovely waterfalls and efficient tea factories. Highly recommend this hostel for anyone who's looking for a calm and quiet place in Nuwara Eliya.

Rajith is an amazing host, always happy to share all the helpful informations and easily reachable by phone when you need him. His place is adorable. Him and his family will make you a beautiful breakfast using the food from their garden. it takes ~45min to get to the city by foot or ~10 by tuktuk which will cost you 2$. Nuwara Eliya is probably the most beautiful place in Sri Lanka, so it is really nice to walk and enjoy the landscapes during the daylight. We would come back anytime!

The room is very cute. They serve us tea when we arrived there and they are very careful. Helped us for everything also set us a tuktuk from railway station

Boasting garden views, woods hut features accommodation with a garden and a balcony, around 4.4 km from Gregory Lake. A real local experience, stay with a lovely family, amazing view from the balcony, Wasantha and Chithra were the perfect hosts and really did everything to make the stay unforgettable. Often we had the experience in Sri Lanka that requests were ignored or not completely fulfilled. But here they listened carefully and arranged everything as expected, such as massage, real BBQ, shopping local food with a lot of explanations, Hortons-National-Park. It was an amazing experience.
