Offering a summer garden and free parking, this hostel in Bad Doberan is just 6 km from the Baltic Sea Coast. Regional cuisine is served in the bistro for lunch.

This is a really good quality place to stay for a very good price. Safe to stay, easy to find, plenty of parking spaces and in (short) walking distance of the town centre. The hostess and staff are very friendly. I stayed at Haus der Horizonte for four nights in a triple bed room during the Zappanale. When I booked I worried a bit if it would be noisy, but it is a nice, comfortable and relaxing quiet place, surrounded by greenery. The rooms are clean and comfortable with good beds & bedding. It has a modern, shared, full kitchen (it even has a diswasher!), and you get your own fridge. The bathroom was super clean, with a very good shower. There is a bistro attached to the hostel, and it has a small "beergarden". I really enjoyed my stay at Haus der Horizonte in pretty and cosy Bad Doberan (Zappa Town), and I'd be happy to stay there again.
